Sad thing is when I went to the desk their were 2 people sitting at the desk doing nothing and the one that was supposed to be the nurse pretended to be going to get the ice and never showed up. People need to start leaving reviews on places that they place their family members in this is sad and unacceptable something really needs to be done about it. If you don’t check on your family members I can promise you they will not be treated right. My mother was in rehab at Signature HealthCARE of Primacy for six weeks.

My mother was put in this nursing home on 5/25 and I fought tooth and nail for this not to happen because of the horror stories that I know about nursing homes. To my surprise the care was much better than I thought of. My mother thought those people was her family. They all knew her and came in her room to make sure she had everything. The therapy department made her participate even when she didn’t feel like it and that is what she needed.

The State needs to shut this place down. Toured the facility with my sister when we were looking for a place for my Father. We chose an eldercare home that was closer to where my sister lived, that was the only reason we did not choose Majestic.

Everybody was very nice and very accommodating. They always kept me informed on what’s going on, her treatments or medications, and even her activities. It had two living areas, two TVs, two dressers, and two closets. They were strict about COVID restrictions and masks.

She could have gone to the activities, but she never would. She had physical therapy to begin walking again. They must improve their food and somehow keep it hot to get to the rehab people. Doctor’s orders are needed to start care.
My mother was briefly there for rehab and I was so glad when she was finally discharged. She was there during covid restrictions and was not allowed to have visitors during most of her stay which our family understood. During my mother’s last couple weeks of being there, my family was finally able to visit with her. We were there everyday all day so we witnessed a lot.
They did not help our 84 year old loved one eat after a stroke, nor provide her with fluids. She was dehydrated after 3 days and had to be transported to the hospital. Trying to reach someone on staff and get answers as to why she was not answering her phone was almost impossible. They have no phone resin on duty and you continue to get a message on the main line that they are closed.
Destiny Center puts on the Destiny Delivers program for seniors in the community, using their transit vehicle to deliver hot, free meals to local seniors every Tuesday and Thursday since October 2021. DestinyShuttles is another local transit program for seniors administered by the Destiny Center. We visited for 2 hours and no one ever came to the room at all. I even turned on the light for help and still no one came.
I think she’s getting the value for the cost. It has two beds, two closets, restroom, and two TVs. I know there’s a salon in there and an activity area. It was better than hospital food; it was pretty good. My mother went to Diversicare of Southaven for rehab two years ago. You could tell it had been there thirty-to-forty years.
What disturbed was when i entered the bathroom there was feces present and it was hard and you can tell had been there for weeks. If there is housekeeping how can anyone have this present in the bathroom and on the floor to where it had to be soaked to be cleaned up. This and other rooms had food where it looks like someone tossed a plate across the room and left food everywhere.
